Grandma Bray

December 30th, I found out Grandma Bray's cancer treatments were not working.  They had given her weeks to months the week prior.  My mom and I started making arrangements to go over to Eugene, OR to see her the following week.  She passed away January 4th, before we were able to get over there.  We were heartsick not being able to see her before she passed.  I was grateful to have talked to her on the phone on January 1st.  She was in happy spirits and looking forward to our visit.  How grateful I am for a knowledge of the plan of salvation.  She is in a wonderful and peaceful place.  I know that I will see my Grandma again someday.
The boys and I headed to Meridian to pick up Mama & Scott before all heading over to Eugene for her memorial service.  It was nice to see family and I was able to take our new scanner and scan TONS of family pictures and memorabilia.  I was even able to take a few of Grandma's family history books she had gathered over the years.  I enjoyed spending time with Grandpa, I hope to see him again this summer.
Grandpa is an avid U of O Ducks fan as he played Basketball for them back in the day.  He's almost always decked out in Duck gear.  We stayed a couple of days with Grandpa.  By the end, Cohen would copy Grandpa by yelling and pointing his finger. Since Grandpa is very hard of hearing, he ends up yelling when he talks.
We had the opportunity to visit with TJ's folks in McMinnville as well.  Mama & Scott enjoyed the Spruce Goose Aviation & Space Museum.
