Boise Temple Open House

We moved to Twin Falls, just as the Twin Falls Temple was having its open house and dedication.  We love having a Temple only 10 minutes from our home.  We can see it and drive past it often.  Cohen loves seeing the Temple.
The Boise Idaho Temple has been closed for the past 15 months for an extensive renovation.  Whenever a new temple is built or have been renovated, they have an open house for the general public to tour the inside of the temple before it is dedicated.  Once it is dedicated, only worthy church members are able to go inside.  I thought it was a great opportunity to take Cohen and Raiden to see the inside of the Boise Temple.  Cohen was in awe of the many paintings of Jesus inside.  He loved the chandeliers or 'sparkly lights' as he called them.  It was special to hold my two sons and look into the two mirrors of the sealing room that represent looking into eternity.  I'm grateful to have been sealed in the Portland Temple with my best friend, TJ.  It's a humbling and reassuring feeling to know that as TJ and I remain faithful, we will be with our children in heaven as a family unit.
