The first weekend of October, TJ had a conference over in Pocatello. His hotel would be paid for, so the family tagged along. My niece is going to school at ISU, so I thought it would be fun to see her too.
We visited the
Museum of Clean. Don Aslett started his cleaning business in Pocatello while he was going to ISU. I highly recommend visiting the museum if you are ever in Pocatello.
We also visited the
Idaho Museum of Natural History, which had a shark exhibit by
Ray Troll, an artist from my hometown in Alaska!
We enjoyed eating out, especially at Red Lobster (my brother's treat) and visiting with Aly.
The next weekend was ISU Family Weekend. My mom was headed over and at the last minute, we joined her. Scott had to stay home with a sick dog. We enjoyed going back to the Natural History Museum so Aly and Mom could see Ray Troll's art.
We watched ISU boys Rugby kill the BSU team. The kids and I watched
Despicable Me 2 while Mom and Aly watched the first half of the Football
game.
It was fun to spend some more time with Aly. We LOVE that she
is down here going to school.
