We enjoyed an Easter egg hunt Friday afternoon. Cohen was more interested in playing in the sandpit and trampoline then picking up Easter eggs. As you can see, he dumped out the eggs, then ran to play.
Here's a picture of our cute little man before church this morning. He knew it was Sunday...as I was getting dressed, he grabbed his Sunday shoes that were right next to TJ's dress shoes in our closet. He was ready to get going.
Last night, I enjoyed reading the different accounts of the Garden of Gethsemane and Christ on the cross found in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in the New Testament. Today, I read and pondered on the different accounts of His Resurrection. How grateful I am for a loving Heavenly Father, who sent His Son to atone for our sins. He gave His life, so that each of us may live again. I know that Christ lives, He is our Savior and Redeemer. It's a humbling thought to know it is my responsibility to teach my children this wonderful truth. To teach them about our Savior and to help them look unto Christ in all that they do. Let us remember why we celebrate Easter, it is because Christ is Risen and Lives.
