We decided it was time to go try our hand at target practice and go shooting... While visiting my mama over Memorial Day weekend, we went out the shooting range Scott belongs to, and shot the new "Night Court Judge" as well as a .22 rifle. TJ's brother was also able to accompany us. Mama did a great job at shooting the Judge, even thought it was too powerful for her.
We practiced our aim again with TJ's family in June when we were in Oregon for his other brother's High School graduation. As it turns out dad has a .22 rifle as well. We all enjoyed practicing our shot and improving our skills. Mom also thought the Judge had too big of a kick for her, but she did well. Both of our moms like the .22 rifles better, it's " my type of gun."

How much of a radius did you guys have to clear when TJ went to fire his gun? And why didn't you inform me? I might have needed to vacate my property to a safer area... ;)

Wait....A gun was purchased without my being informed? I belive a shooting trip is in order. Caren in all of her wonderfullness got me a gun as a graduation present as well. Mine was a 9mm. Next you need to get your CWP. I also think it is awesome that it will shoot both Colts and 410s. That's pretty awesome.
That video of Trish shooting is awesome! It actually makes me want to try shooting sometime - I've never done it! Oh, and Bryan graduating? That's just plain wrong.
Too bad you don't live here. We need people to go shooting with. My favorite gun is wimpy too...a firestorm .380. People tease me but everyone who tries all of our guns likes mine best...even if it's a girl gun! You should get your CWP. The class here was a lot of fun.
